Darlo Drama's beginners acting, Level Three, builds on the foundations developed in Levels One and Two by introducing the process of creating and differentiating multiple characters across a range of theatrical texts.
Throughout the course, you will explore each character's motivations, psychology, physicality and behaviour, developing the skills to create authentic, believable performances. You will also gain a deeper understanding of script analysis, character development and the dramatic arc of a story, allowing you to bring greater depth and nuance to your work.
As you progress through Level Three, you will strengthen your rehearsal process, learn how to interpret and apply a director's feedback, and analyse scripts through the lens of character, circumstances and playwright intention. A unique feature of this course is the opportunity to perform twice, allowing you to apply your skills across multiple performances and continue developing your confidence on stage.

The course begins with an exploration of a variety of performance texts.
You will be introduced to different theatrical genres, styles and forms, and discover how each influences character development, storytelling and performance.
You will then rehearse a range of scenes featuring multiple characters and scene partners, giving you the opportunity to develop greater adaptability, versatility and confidence as an actor while refining your rehearsal and performance skills.
