One class per week over seven sessions with a performance at the end to family and friends.
Our Level ONE course operates from various locations in Sydney CBD, suburbs and surrounds, where we create a safe space for you to have lots of fun, meet new people and connect to your creativity.
Classes start gently, allowing a safe place for you to PLAY and EXPLORE with fun games, trust exercises and improvisation.
As time goes on, your group will begin to get more COMFORTABLE, RELAXED and SPONTANEOUS.
You will find confidence in self-expression, learning techniques to assist with presenting in front of a group, working through “stage fright” and connecting to an audience while developing your communication skills.
Our 7 session level ONE course dives into foundational acting techniques while helping you grow confidence, creativity, and stage presence.

All students must be over 18 years of age to join Darlo Drama.
Our classes are specifically designed and tailored for absolute beginners, no experience required to participate in our Level 1 course.
Whilst you can complete the three levels in your own time, the skills of acting are best developed where you complete all levels of the Beginners Acting Course Journey within a 12 to 18 month period. This allows for the ongoing and consistent development of skills and knowledge over time. If you have previous experience you may be eligible to enter into the program at a higher level.
