Darlo is definitely the place to be

Darlo is definitely the place to be if you have been thinking about trying acting, or seeking a community of thespians or just want to have a bit more confidence about getting on stage/public speaking. Started here 3 years ago with their Level 1 course, and since then have returned to try all their courses, with screen acting as the latest. It's now like family!

What an amazing place!

What an amazing place! I recently completed the Level 2 course at Darlo, after loving Level 1 so much. The teachers are fantastic, and so supportive of all students from all walks of life. I chose Darlo because they have been around for such a long time and have a solid reputation - but came back for the course content and brilliant teachers. Romney (the administrator who I was in contact with) answered any crazy questions I had in a timely and professional manner. Highly recommend Darlo to anyone looking to start a career in acting or if you are even just looking for a new hobby!

An excellent introduction to acting for beginners. Nerves settle quickly as the director gets everyone to feel at ease, even while pushing you out of your comfort zone. Highly recommended.

We have had Darlo Drama teachers come in to conduct the last couple of our team building sessions and I have to say - they are great at what they do and how they do it. The teachers are professional, knowledgeable, experienced and they treat you with respect, even though you are terrible at acting. They not only help you be a more confident speaker, but also help you get to know your teammates better. The sessions are a journey in themselves and they comprise of a series of activities which are sure to bring out the child in you. You may also lose a couple of pounds from running and jumping around the room. If you are looking for an off-beat and fun team building activity, give Darlo Drama sessions a go. Who knows, you may even discover the actor inside!

Excited to partner with Darlo Drama at our EOFY global conference in June 2023

We were so excited to partner with Darlo Drama at our EOFY global conference in June 2023, to run a session on public speaking and storytelling - after our team showed a keen interest to develop and grow in this space. Our team is made up of employees across the full introvert to extrovert scale range (from sales though to operations and tech roles), and every single employee who went through the session absolutely LOVED it. The Darlo Drama team made our staff feel so comfortable, safe and open to exploring the skills needed to improve their confidence and ability to storytell - even the ones who were hesitant to attend at first, thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are now asking us for more Darlo Drama sessions!
