Do I need previous acting experience?
No. Darlo Drama courses are designed for complete beginners — no experience required. Most people walk in nervous and leave wanting more.
Who can join — is there an age limit?
Darlo Drama is for adults only. All students must be 18+. We welcome adults of all ages, stages and backgrounds.
Where are your classes held?
Our HQ is in Darlinghurst (Sydney CBD), five minutes’ walk from Museum Station. We also run classes across Greater Sydney — including the Hills District, Penrith, Campbelltown and the Central Coast — plus locations in Victoria.
How much is the Intro Class?
The 2-hour Intro Class is just $49. It’s a one-off taster so you can try us out before committing to a full Level One course.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in — jeans and a t-shirt are fine. Soft-soled shoes or socks are best for studio floors. Leave the heels and suits at home.
What’s the difference between Intro and Level One?
The Intro is a 2-hour one-off class — a taste of the Darlo experience. Level One: The Monologue is our signature 7-week beginners course where you build skills week by week and perform a monologue. Many students say “I just came for the intro” and stay for Level One.
