What you'll learn
In this class you will play drama games, do a bit of improv, have fun and meet new people. You will build connections with other adults in a fun, accepting and supportive environment. Adults come to an acting class for a variety of reasons, some have always wanted to give acting a try, some are looking to develop more confidence, some are just wanting a creative outlet from their busy lives. Whatever your reason, you are always welcome at Darlo Drama.

Do I need any acting experience?
Our Intro to Acting class is for adults with no prior experience. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to have fun.

What happens during the 2-hour intro class?
Join drama games, improvisation exercises and activities to spark creativity and build confidence. Meet like-minded adults in a welcoming environment.

What happens after the intro class?
Many students love the intro class and continue with our Level 1: Beginners' Course, a seven-session course exploring foundational acting techniques and improvisation.

What if I'm shy or nervous?
It's normal to feel nervous before class. Our teachers create a supportive environment to help everyone feel safe.

What should I wear or bring?
Just wear comfy clothes you can move in. No need to bring anything but an open mind!

Is it suitable for older adults too?
Absolutely! Most students in this class are aged 30-50+.

Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Please note we do not offer transfers or reschedules if you're unable to attend your booked session.

Who can join the intro class?
The class is open to all adults aged 18 and over. Our students come from all ages, stages and backgrounds.
